Probus Club of Gordon East Inc.

Probus is an international organisation operating in many countries around the world. In Australia clubs operate under the auspices of Probus Centre – South Pacific Inc., are governed by its constitution  but otherwise are autonomous.

A Probus club is an association of retired and semi-retired people  who appreciate and value contact with others in similar circumstances. The organization aims to stimulate thought and encourage participation in activities to keep members physically and mentally active, expand  interests and to enjoy the fellowship of new friends at a time when horizons may be narrowing and opportunities to make new friends may be limited.                                       

Probus clubs are non-political and non-sectarian, are non-profit making and have no fund raising activities. Probus clubs are not service clubs. The aim is to operate at minimum cost to members.
